VACANT EDEN
Photographers Abigail Gumbiner and Carol Hayden partnered to document the disappearing motels that once dotted the American southwest in the 1940's and 50's. After years of shooting, a book was published by Balcony Press called Vacant Eden and the images, printed in glorious Cibachrome, traveled to museums in Reno, Los Angeles, Tucson and Las Vegas. Images were acquired by the museums and private collectors.
A limited number of Cibachromes are available for purchase.
